Comments wanted by Nicola

I have been thinking about how to put my action research into action and have had an idea. I was hoping to use drama to consolidate learning. I was thinking about using hotseating, role-on-the-wall and freeze-frame at the end of lessons to see if this helps consolidate what the children have learnt throughout the lesson. I saw this used on Thursday although my mentor does not ordinarily use drama in her teaching. Any ideas/comments would be greatly appreciated.

What do you think? I really like the idea- you should all look at the Learning2Learn stuff Kate Wall is doing She uses freeze frame cartoons with speech bubbles and thought bubbles to help Primary kids develop metacognitive skills See the links on her webpage
